The Witch & The Egg
Friday 24 May 2024
One Performer and a flock of shadow puppets tell a joyful and heartwarming story about friends, foolishness and flying away.
Susan is a miserable, bad tempered old Witch who doesn’t like company. She lives in a nest, flies around scaring people and eats biscuits. The last thing she wants in her life is a giant Egg…should she have it for breakfast or hatch it? And what will she do once it hatches? The Birds have plenty of advice for her but Susan ignores them and decides to go it alone. Inspired by the book “The Witch’s Egg” by Madeleine Edmondson.
